About Us

Camac Pictures

Camac Pictures was founded in 2024 by Solomon Brown to honor the legacy of his great-grandmother, Eva Camac, and her connection to the film and television industry.

Eva’s journey to America began in the early 1940s, during World War II. With her five children, she set sail from the United Kingdom to join the rest of the Camac family in the United States. The voyage was not without risk—at one point, their ship had to go dark in the middle of the ocean as foreign vessels circled nearby. Despite the challenges, Eva and her children safely arrived in New York. After a brief time in Canada, Eva traveled to Florida to visit her father, Charles Nicoll Bancker Camac, but he sadly passed away before they could reunite.

Eventually, she and her children settled in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, where she became involved in the film and entertainment industry. Over the period of 15 years Eva Camac worked as an actress, building an established and successful career in Hollywood, working closely with some of the stars of the industry at the time, such as Roy Rogers.

Camac Pictures, hopes to carry on Eva’s legacy in the world of Film and entertainment, contributing meaningful and compelling projects. With a passion for storytelling and a commitment to excellence, we hope to bring bold visions to life, - Inspired by the Past. Driven by the Future.
